I thought I was the genius who came up with this one! We have popsicles/ice cream cones every bath time...my two love the "rainbow effect" when things don't go well and no one gets upset!

We did this a lot. I can remember teaching my kids when they were little how to drink from a cup in the same way. Give them a drink in the bath. If they spill it - who cares!

love the website!

If you can't get them in the tub... say a friend offers the little one a popsicle when you're out (love those "friends" :-) Just grab a small dixie cup (like the ones you get a costco) or a styrofoam cup put a small slit in the bottom and push the pop through. Most (not all) of the drippings go into the cup. This works best for the 5-7 crowd. My 3 year old still eats the cup! Gotta' love 'em! Val

Terrific. Also works in the kiddie pool in the yard as my mom did way back in the 50's.

Wow and I thought I was the one to discover this! We called it "Mango in the Bathtub" when our kids were little -- because seriously there is no Clean way for a kid to eat a mango! But great idea to do that for popsicles as well!

I love your website, just found it (my friend forwarded your tip about rings down the drain and using the wet vac, brilliant!!!) -- keep up the great work and thank you!!

The cool thing is that if you use fruit pops(different colored ones preferably), your kids can do wall art on the sides of the bathtub interior as well. Great hint Michael.
