Love: When all 3 are happy and healthy, Which is most of the time.
Loathe: The fact that I am sitting at home with 3 sick kids, one of which is 22 months old and the other 2 teenagers. They ALL have the flu. I might go crazy before this is over!

love: she is so adventurous about eggplant that she pleads with her stepmom to just try it, she’ll love it!

loathe: the very next day, she decides she always hated eggplant, after dad puts it all over the pizza just for her.

love: a child’s joy to play with the household cat.

loathe: a cat’s terror at being played with by the household child.

love: it’s so nice that she enjoys early morning showers with minimal adult supervision when her best pal’s over.

loathe: two voices screaming from a small bathroom, "DAD, WE CAN’T GET THE WATER OFF, YOU NEED TO GET OUT OF BED AND HELP US!!!"

love: hearing her tell a friend, "know what? my uncle’s a PIRATE!"

loathe: hearing her tell a friend, "know what? sometimes my dad farts at the dinner table!"
