But are these free sites users just adults, what about teaching middle school children?
I feel teaching our middle school children a foreign language is so vital...if your school system doesn't offer a F.L. it is up to us parents to enrich their lives with these F.L. skills.
Are there any age 9-13 free foreign language sites "out there"?

Great links. LiveMocha and Mango are really cool sites. We're launching something soon at eduFire.com that will be very useful in terms of language learning. Right now we have a blog up with hundreds of FREE (:)) podcasts, videos, etc. as a teaser. Check it out!
